New Country- Integration?

I feel as if I were to move to a new country I would keep my same values, morals, and beliefs as I have obtained in my native country. Things would be different, no doubt about that, and it would be an amazing experience. Furthermore, integrating yourself to the new culture of that country would almost be changing yourself completely. To me, not integrating yourself wouldnt necessarily be remaining seperate from the new culture, but moreso being unique. Example would be people in the US from other countries, dont TRY to become an american and do everything we do....they are proud of where they are from and still practice customs from their native country. Being unique is a good thing.
